Alpha Chi Omega was founded at Depauw University in Greencastle, Indiana by seven young women: Anna Allen, Bertha Dentison, Bessie Grooms, Amy DuBois, Olive Burnett, Nellie Gamble, and Estelle Leonard to create the first music fraternity.
